The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was under construction. This temple is being built on land gifted by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), a Hindu organization.
It is designed to showcase traditional Hindu architecture and will include a cultural complex as well. The construction of the temple reflects the UAE’s commitment to promoting religious harmony and understanding.
